Spent 2 nights in a Double or Twin Room. Location near Gran Via was perfect, but the room was quite noisy at night.

Clean place & very helpful and amazingly attentive staff at the reception desk. Early check-in, a nice size rooms with a bathroom as well as a rollaway bed. An absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location close to restaurants and bars. And only 10 minutes walking to downtown. A pleasant restaurant available in the hotel.

Great hotel's location, as it was close to a tube station. The room was quiet and included a safe, central heating, and a work desk. The staff was very-very nice, pleasant all the time...

I encountered excessive dampness in my room, leading to an unpleasant smell of mold throughout my stay. The shower pressure could definitely use improvement, struggling to provide a strong stream. A buzzing entry system felt slightly inconvenient, requiring wait times for access to the building.

Practical room, we had triple room, with central heating, flat-screen television and a safe. The staff was polite and responsive to what we asked for. The location was great, not very far from a grand boulevard.

I loved the coziness of our room and the good outdoor space where we enjoyed evening meals, though I found the mattress too soft for comfort. I'd stay again!

The best part about Hostal America is that it is so central and you can literally see and smell the vibe down below your room yet the rooms are very quiet once the window is closed. Also the rooftop terrace feels like you are in a small town surrounded by beautiful rooftops so you can chill out and enjoy the sunshine up there. The staff are so nice too and have a great sense of humour! Definitely my first choice if I were to stay in Madrid again!
